I need a lil computer help

Well you can do a complete restore on your computer. Look at your comp manual as well as the disks that came with your computer. There should be disks labeled "Restoration" or something similar and your manual shouldhelp you walk through the process.

You need to reformat your hard drive, and reboot the system..............I don't envy you, i HATE that job...........sigh

okie dokie than follow the directions above and ti should clear it up for you. I just had to dot hat for my fathers computer because he had viruses and spyware out the butt from my little brothers. It's very easy just follow the directions on the screen and the manual.

Ahhhhhh..........guys?It sounds like a good plan except if you reformat your computer, I’d advise that you make sure that you have all of the original software to replace what you’re removing or you're dead in the water. I personally would invest into some great cleanup software program first before reformatting.... If there was an earlier time when the system was working better, restore your computer to that earlier date first … I would only reformat as a last resort. It’s a pretty hefty job even if you’re a computer guru….

Before you do any of that, tell me what OS your runniing, it is possible to save yourself a format, pending what operating system you have.If its XP you can continue to restore points from the last time you had a good PC, in 98 SE you can do a system restore if you have a windows disk and it fixes the files that are tampered with. I dont remeber how, but befor I got xp my G/F did it for me and it was sooo much better then a format and init. After the bastard runs right, stop screwing around on porno sites, looking up cheat codes for video games, and opening attachments from people you dont know, shit even from people you do know if you didnt know they were sending you something. run scans WEEKLY and get spybot and a few other adware scanners. No program will catch it all so run 2 or more to keep the bastard clean.a 98 restore you can find thru google, bring ya up a list of MSN pages that walk ya thru it. Print it out and have it handy when you do it.

I kinda thought that was obvious LOL needless to say, of course you should have all the stuff to get the pc going again, should you need to reformat. My other half got some great software to create bootable CDs.......they came in handy

Easy solution, put it in safe mode then virus scan, spyware scan etc, if they dont delete delete by hand its a fiddly job but you can usialy get all the bastards in the end. Make sure you turn off system restore before you do this as virus's can lodge themselves in it.If all else fails reformat, you can do it without a complete hard drive wipe leaving a few programs on it but total format would be safer. You can do this with your windows cd.
