Welcome, xIniquity. Can you pull the foreskin back at all? If you can't do so you might think of doing stretching exercises, but never over-do it--it shouldn't be painful. The foreskin usually naturally loosens around your age and we don't know to what stage that has proceeded.

20 Years Old - Never pulled foreskin back before!
-
Ineligible, thanks for replying! I can roll it back but only some of the tip shows, there is no pain when I do this but a bit of discomfort. I'm thinking of waiting a bit since I'm still developing and might need some time before the foreskin is brought back fully.

Hey I have to ask something I am 25 years old and I have had a tight foreskin I visited a urologist and he has adviced circumcision. What should i do? i tried stretching exercises for a long time but that did not help at all. and i keep getting regular bouts of balantitis as well the tip of foreskin mostly remains red. Kindly help any inputs would be appreciated!! While i try to retract the foreskin the point beyond which it does not retract at that point i see a red substance or lining on the penis head along the curvature it has always been there what is it supposed to be?
* -
@xIniquity Not a bad idea, though it sounds like stretching would not hurt.
-
@rush https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis might be helpful. It mentions several alternatives to circumcision.
The penis head is naturally reddish: it has a strong blood supply and is not covered by ordinary skin but only by mucous membrane, like the lips. Perhaps you are just seeing the normal head?
-
Bro, I seriously don't know this shit cause I'm circumcised.
-
@Ineligible Yes I have read this article the alternatives include stretching which has failed or i have not done properly... yes the head is red but there is this mucous kind of substance apart from the head on the head although it has not caused any pain or problem ever and hence i believe it would not be a problem when i mentioned it to the urologist he just looked at it and said "It should be operated" as any surgeon would. I think i'll refer another urologist as well and take his recommendations too always better for a second opinion...
-
@rush I agree that you should get a second opinion. However, we can only second guess the urologists opinion because we don't know how serious your phimosis is. Maybe it is so tight that nothing but circumcision will fix it. However, if you are constantly getting infections, you do need some sort of permanent solution.

I am 28 years old and i never had sex in my life. During masturbation i retracted my foreskin and unable to pull it back over penis head. Its not due to tight foreskin i guess, whenever i pull back the skin its going under frenulum again. Due to this whenever my penis head touches underwear during walking i am feeling pain. Its been 2 weeks now and not reaolved yet, i m using man1 penis health oil and no use. Is this phimosis or paraphimosis? Any surgery needed for this? Like circumcision etc. i am afraid that i will be getting married soon, do i meed to concsult urologist? Please help me out? Do i need to post any pic here??
-
This sounds like it might be a paraphimosis, perhaps due to the foreskin rolling up on itself. Some things you can try immediately are (a) a cold shower or bath, (b) squeezing around, and (c) using a little oil to help lubricate things, while you pull the foreskin forward. If these don't work you should get medical attention at once, as paraphimosis can impair the blood circulation.
-
Thank gou, will try. Is it dangerous for not getting foreskin rolled back?
-
It's dangerous for the circulation in the foreskin. It is recommended that paraphimosis that isn't resolved in a few hours should be treated as a medical emergency, because of the danger that blood circulation to parts of the foreskin has been cut off. It's unlikely to be completely cut off in your case or you would have noticed gangrene by now, but it may be seriously reduced.
-
I am also 20 years old, i have the same problem, I never use to retract back my foreskin only a little bit to wash it. I have only just noticed that when I'm soft I can pull it back all the way past the head, it doesn't hurt but is a bit discomfortable I'm just assuming it's cause the glans are getting exposed for the first time, as when I run water over its very uncomftble. What are ways I can decrease the sensitively of this? Why was the head and glans changing to a purplish colour? It did not feel restricted, I have not tried to pull back the foreskin when I'm errect? Will I have a problems?
-
The sensitivity will reduce with time. You can speed the process up by having it exposed more, but of course this will be uncomfortable until the sensitivity declines.
The colour of the glans varies with temperature as well as other factors.
If you can retract the foreskin easily when soft, it will just need a little stretching to be able to retract when erect. This may happen naturally.
-
@Ineligible okay so update, I can pull it back no problem when soft it hurts a little bit bit but not the type of
Pain that says hey I'm not supposed to go back that far.. I'm just assuming it's
Getting use to it? The only other problem is the foreskin is getting stuck behind the glands will this go away over time of me stretching it everyday or is there something more serious that I should go to the dr about -
@josh483 If the foreskin is getting stuck behind the head, then you need to work on expanding the overall circumference of the foreskin opening. The only way to really do that is to try and get your pinkies into the opening and stretch out. Doing this is rather difficult.
The other method is to retract with a full erection without pulling back behind the head. If yo do pull back behind the head, there is a chance it will get stuck and not allow the blood to flow out of the head. If this happens, grasp the entire glans in the palm of your hand a steadily squeeze until you reduce the size of the glans and hopefully lose your erection allowing you to slip the foreskin back.
For those who find that the head is still partially exposed after pushing the foreskin back, it is usually because the inner part of the foreskin has folded up on itself. The way to take care of this is to fully retract and then unroll the foreskin back over that glans making sure that the inner skin is not folding on itself in the process.

@sdp thank you so much, so all I have to do is a lot stretching excrises to get it use being stretched,

Hello guys. I'm 16 years old and I'm having trouble pulling my foreskin back. I can't seem to get it all the way; the foreskin is attached to the head of my penis and I'm not sure if that's normal? Either way, if I pull it too far it starts to almost rip off the head off my glands. What should I do? Just keep practising and it will eventually loosen its grip?
-
Welcome to A2A, Cd96. Where is the foreskin attached to the head? Attachment to a point on the underside via the frenulum is normal, but shouldn't prevent the foreskin's going all the way past the head. Attachment anywhere else is probably an adhesion, and working at it regularly with a bit of vegetable oil may help.
-
It's attached just above the frenulum. As in, as I roll back, I can see the point of attachment and if I pull too far, it starts to pull on the head and is quite painful. Should I just continue stretching gently?
Update: I have today managed to stretch it just beyond the head when flaccid. Should I continue to stretch when erect?
