I deffinatly would.I have read all the problems you guys on here have, sounds absolutely horrible and i wouldnt want my child having these problems, one cut that he wont remember when hes grown upIm jewish, and its a custom.

Would you have your child circumsized?
-
Some uncircumcised people have relatively minor problems, versus circumcised people, whose sexual sensation is evidently harmed for the rest of their lives. Then why wouldn't you give your daugter a clitoridectomy, to eliminate problems with adhesions and cleaning? There are a lot of customs outlined in the Hebrew scriptures that you might disagree with; some traditions are not worth hanging onto.Examples:In reply to:o Punishment for adultery: Leviticus 20:10 states: And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. This is repeated in Deuteronomy 22:22o Punishment for sexual activity with both a woman and her mother: Deuteronomy 20:14 requires that all three be burned alive.o Punishment for sexual activity before marriage: Deuteronomy 22:13-21 concludes: Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die...".. Note that this applied only to women who had been presented as virgin brides and could be proven to have engaged in intercourse before being engaged or married. There appears to have been no penalty for men who engaged in pre-marital sexual activity.o Punishment for cursing parents: Exodus 21:17 states: And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death. See also Leviticus 20:9. The exact meaning of the key Hebrew word is ambiguous; it might mean, in English, to curse or blaspheme, or to degrade or shame.Female genital mutilation, done in some north African countries, is another example of a bad tradition

easy guys. in the old testimant law, there are three types. 1. sanctuary laws, 2. civil laws, 3. moral laws (10 commandments). the civil laws change with the time, and Jesus affirms this in the new testimant. the sactuary laws were done away with when Christ died on the cross (Mathew 5:17). there may be a lot of old Hebrew laws that we dissagree with today, but most of those are nullified by the cross. the laws we need to concern ourselves with is the 10 commandments now. if you would like to ask a question or argue with me, i would be MORE than happy to on this subject. PM me
-
But those arguments don't apply if you are Jewish.
-
the fufilment of the sactuary and its covenants does. logically - they do not have a sanctuary right now, so where are they sacraficing their "sins". if they are not keeping that part of the covanent, then all the rest of the covenant is broken. either way, the sanctuary laws have been nullified
-
PS - I'm a new spiritual jew, so im not trying to bash anyone

I invite you to go to a synagogue and tell the worshippers that their beliefs are illogical, and that Christ changed all the rules. That might even be more interesting than Nanny 911.
-
hahaha - just for your info, i am not dissagreeing with any of their rules, in fact, im cut because of religious tradition and im happy for it. im not trying to say the the old rules and traditions are not important, im simply saying that the sanctuary laws (and those inculed circumcision) were done away with, but since the majority of the jews dont believe in the new testiment, i guess its a hopeless cause.

In reply to:Girls don't have that problem because the clit isn't "visible" until puberty. And boys don't usually have problems with their foreskin until puberty. In reply to:Also, there aren't issues with cleaning.25moons disgrees with you.
-
Amanda also disagreed with you somewhere (I think), but I can't find the post.Don't you need to do something to keep all those folds and creases and things clean? (I'm not talking about inside the vagina.)
-
yes because im jewiish and i have to also so he doesnt have to worry about cleaning it special and any of that shit
-
I think i would because its sorta like WHY NOT... its not a painful thing when they are young, its easier in life for cleaning reasons etc...
-
Not a painful thing??? It's extremely painful. Sheesh.
-
WHY NOTBecause it's an unnecessary surgical procedure for most men, and there is evidence that it reduces sexual sensation. You could make the same argument for clitoris excision...WHY NOT?
-
Do I think the pain scars the child for life? No... but I'm no psychoanalyst.
-
Don't equate the clitoris with a forskin.
-
In reply to:You are wrong with this one. Why'd you waste the keystrokes? Don't become a lawyer.I don't equate my left pinky with a clitoris or foreskin, but if you cut off the tip of my left pinky, it's still mutiliation, unless there's a medical reason to do so.
-
Why do you have to argue with every thing and everyone, it gets old.
-
Then why are you engaging me in argument? I argue that circumcision is tantamount to mutilation. I have been ritually circumcised. I am not pleased. I've given the reasons why I feel that way.
Now instead of arguing about arguing, do you have anything relevant to add on the subject of the thread? Or do you just not like being disagreed with?
Unless the poster I originally responded to has recognized expertize in the subject under discussion, statements like "You are wrong with this one" are just a waste of space by someone indulging in laziness.

Cutting of the clit has absolutely NO relation to foreskin, nor has it ever been. Especially since Kids DONT remember when they were circumsized, and you cant get the clit till puberty, cause it isnt visable till then
