Check out my blogThis is a blog. You moderate a message board.

Would you have your child circumsized?
-
Do you work? No. It would interfere with the finer things in life, like posting stuff. Whatever you may be implying, nothing about me affects the quality of your posts.> blogTechnically it is a blog, but one of dictionary.com's definitions for blog is: "an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page". It certainly is not that. It's a lot more like what you post here.I'm "picking you apart" because I can't seem to get you to realize that there's any issue at all, that there's anything here worth pondering. Your hackles went up and you're in defensive mode.Do the New York Times editorial writers suck because their columns are more than one sentence long? What do you think they would do, if they spent some of their spare time here?
-
Not a millimeter of movement, not a moment of reflection. Now that's what I call refractory. If you think I was questioning your intelligence (something you seem to be really hung up on), then you've entirely missed the point.> No, I'm not defensive.Yes, you are very defensive. As someone who's far from perfect (me), it's a privelege to meet someone who actually is perfect (you).> I'm just wondering why you are still arguing with me about how I compose my responses to threads. Why does anybody care about anything? I've "known" you for several months, and most of what I've seen are brief, fatuous responses from on high. I care because I know you're capable of much better, with just a little bit of effort.
-
If you have anything else to say to me, send me a PM.That sounds reasonable. But it would be as productive as arguing with a devout Christian about the divinity of Christ.> Don't clog the threads with your nonsense. To quote another poster: "Pot. Kettle. Black?"_______________________________________To get back to the thread...No, I wouldn't want to have my child circumcised, which could be a problem if the mother of the child did want to have it done. People with different belief systems can have a great relationship, but things sometimes get difficult when children arrive.
-
How many times can you circumsize each other? OK, Chucky. Should we cut your foreskin off today? Do you got the balls... I mean...
-
Now thats a useless post....
-
Women can experience clitoral orgasms without the clitoral hood, which is homologous to the male foreskin.
-
If / when I get a boy. I won't circ him. Thats dumb. Waste of money.I rather go buy a new computer or a bunch of videogames. Hehe...
-
In reply to:
Thats dumb.
wow, i'm convinced, such a compelling arguement.
-
I would probably have my son circumsized. It seems that uncut guys have so much trouble with cleaning, and other things that I have absolutley no idea about. I would definately let my husband have the final say since he has hands on knowledge of the subject.
-
So far every guy with a foreskin, who's discussed the subject, has said that cleaning is no big deal (as well as I can recall).
Who said that cleaning is so much trouble?
Yet another case of a female not thinking that a man's sexual sensation is a big deal.
-
All these threads about the pain involved with retracting, the problems cleaning, having foreskin making someone depressed, etc. I will not have this discussion about sexual sensation, because its just beating a dead horse.I will be the first to admit that I am quite ignorant about the pros/cons of circumsizion, but thats my opinion as of right now. Might change, might not. I'm not having kids anytime soon, so I've got plenty of time to think.
-
You have to understand that the people who post on this board with problems etc. are a small minority of intact men. A clear majority of men on this planet are not circumcised and the majority of them do not have problems. The majority of intact men never have problems with retraction etc. If you went to a message board about testicular cancer you would find many men who have problems with their testicles. Based on this would you decide that excision of one testicle would be beneficial (since cutting off one testicle halves one's chances of getting testicular cancer)?
-
Very well put, Blade07.Given the small minority of people with issues (that rearely require circumcision to fix), it's tragic to just willy nilly cut off foreskins. Maybe Americans just think that the great majority of the rest of the world just doesn't get it.
-
Although you may be right about the amount of males on here, making up only a small percentage of males on the earth that are intact, but I can't help but wonder how many males that are intact, HAVEN'T found these boards and posted on them, i think if every male who did, the number would be much greater, therefore increasing the percentage.maybe someone should make a thread condemning foreskin. This thread may not be labelled "circumcisions are wrong" but that is a sense of what one might get reading this thread. if I were a first time reader of this thread, I might be inclined to believe that my circumision was so unbelievably horrid, that I am missing out on such a greener pasture. When that is probably not the truth. If a male cut at birth can masturbate, ejaculate, enjoy sexual intercourse then that to me, shows signs that his member works perfectly as designed. A person who is cut later in life, to me reminds me of a person experiencing the ghost limb. where the arm or leg has been amputated but the sense that it remains is still there. There is always gonna be an adjustment...unavoidable if cut later in life. Do you think a child of 3 days is really gonna care whether he is cut or not when he does discover masturbation, as a form of sexual satisfaction?
-
I very much agree. I am circumsliced(jk) I have have no problems, sex is great, masturbation is great too. I am very happy the way I am! The intact just like to force their opinion so that they can feel normal!
-
So we can feel normal????? STFU. Intact males are the "normal" ones. TYVM
-
I could have taken a sledgehammer to your car and knocked out all the glass, scaped up the doors, and screwed with the computer to mess up the engine timing. If you've never driven an "intact" car, you'd never know the difference. You'd turn the key, the car would start, you'd put it in gear, it would move forward, etc. You'd think the car was fine.In reply to:The intact just like to force their opinion so that they can feel normal!I've heard some stupid crap around here, but you must be going for first prize. Maybe we should ask Paris Hilton about her opinion on the subject.

Still made no sense. Could you restate it?In reply to:If a male cut at birth can masturbate, ejaculate, enjoy sexual intercourse then that to me, shows signs that his member works perfectly as designed. You can take a child and feed him paint chips containing lead. If you feed him enough of them, you'll cause brain damange that will lower his adult intelligence. As an adult he will think he's just fine. But he will have lost something. He may think his brain is working perfectly as "designed", but it is not.Likewise with the sensation lost from circumcision. You might think you're just fine, but you don't realize the sensation that you've lost.In reply to:A person who is cut later in life, to me reminds me of a person experiencing the ghost limb. where the arm or leg has been amputated but the sense that it remains is still there.According to people that have been through the procedure, the sensation does not remain.
