Trusting parents - vs- Horny teenagers!

Shit this isnt good
-
Yeah I know it, I have a 15 year old and 12 year old and I freak out when they want to ride the bikes to the b ball court thats about 300 yards away.
-
You don't know enough about sex to have any. You're 13. Go home and do your homework, forget about sex! You're too young! fuming
-
"apparentley she was a virgin". please tell me that means you don't know what actually constitutes virginity because 13 year olds should not be having sex. I didn't even know what sexual intercourse was at 13. Also why isn't she staying with family/friends for the weekend? My mom gets all antsy about me staying overnight at my fathers house when he's home, nevermind leaving me for a four day weekend. Anyways as far as the sheets go do what everyone else said about the peroxide and cold water.
-
'....because 13 year olds should not be having sex'but the reality is that they do have sex, get over it
-
if you cant get hold of peroxide, get some plain old shampoo, water and an old toothbrush. works a treat
-
I know I just think it's sad that they feel the need to be doing that so young. Just enjoy being a kid while you can it's not gonna last forever.
-
I respect those who wait out of moral conviction or the wish to find the right person or a higher level of maturity, but I don't understand this argument that having sex somehow stops you enjoying being a kid in a way that masturbating doesn't.
-
I just see sex as a mature, adult thing to be doing. I don't know just blame it on my parents i guess.
-
i think the reality is that some kids grow up faster than others and while it's great that some of you on here have kids who are going to wait until they're older, there are other kids out there who experiment early. One of my girl friends had very open parents and at age 11 she decided she wanted to see what all the fuss was about..it happens.Plus, if you look at the media today, kids are being told from every direction that sex is the most awesome activity they'll ever engage in and it's a perfectly normal thing to do. You can't blame them for being curious really..
-
i have very open parents, i think they would have totally have freaked if i had had sex at 11
-
sorry i didn't articulate that well did I..I meant she had open parents who discussed sex in front of her so she was hearing about it from an early age..hence the wanting to experiment thing..
-
..it happensThat's not good! That's what we don't want: pre-teens getting knocked up! It's great if they know the facts of life cuz chances are, the more educated they are, the less idiotic decisions they make, but the truth is, not very many parents are that open and sex ed in schools sometimes can be a bit sketchy. So when a 13 y/o kid tells us they want to have sex - that is something to worry about. When I was 13 i didn't even want a boyfriend.
-
Well actually you should look at the year were in right now. 2005 moving on 2006. Technology is growing rapidly. The media is getting more and more risky with what they are showing or rather allowing to be shown on public television to kids of all ages. So it's not really that hard to believe. From what I've heard, there are kids being raped and raping as young as 10 maybe younger. So really who can blame them.
-
Television has been far more risque' in Europe for a long time than it has been in the U.S. Internet pornography is widely available in the U.S. and Europe. Yet, the U.S. has far more violent crimes of all types. I don't know what the specific numbers are for rape, but the U.S. is a very violent society. It's not clear that we're getting more violent, but we're violent enough as it is.Sexual assults used to be swept under the carpet and not talked about. That's not the case as much any more, so the whole topic is more visible, which makes it seem like a lot more of it is going on.
-
I didn't say it was hard to believe, I'm quite aware that it's happening and will keep happening, but it's not good! And it shouldn't be defended. Yes, alot of times media plays a big role in a child's actions, but that's where better parenting needs to step in, to teach your 11,12,13 year old right from wrong and consequences when it comes to sex.

go JenJen

To put the sheets in a bucket with cold water and salt is the most effective. Then wash.
-
Ok I was just saying
-
Lol I didn't mean to come off snappy or anything, I just get a wee bit too passionate sometimes in things that I have a strong opinion in. hugs
