Quote:Yaay, so we pierced it tonight, we were using the wrong sized needle without realizing it.the butterfly was a 14 gauge, the needle was 16. We had to re-pierce 3 times, so finally my sister said "Screw this" got one of her lip rings, soaked it in alcohol for 5 minutes, and put that in. ADDED: Quote:[Edit: It's not like she didnt know what she was doing. We just didnt realize it was the wrong sized needle.] She should have been more careful. But it's too late now and whatever makes you happy, I guess

My sister is Pinhead. >.>;We took all the precaustions, boiled it, Rubbing alcohol. blah blah.It looks nice now, just cleaned it, omg, that burned like a ho.

Um...if she was a professional, then she would have known which needle to use from the start.
-
Not to you Classy.I think these "what does Latin mean" arguments are becoming almost as repetitive as the "god" debates. Though, up until now all involved Purple or one of his many personalities.

Oh I remember that one, that was hilarious! He thought he was Latino because he speaks a language that was derived from Latin! That gave me a good laugh...

LOL, I just read this entire thread and the whole time I was thinking this person reminds me of PurpleStain. Glad I'm not the only one.

Hmm. Interesting.I was watching some show, and this girl had her dimples pierced, which I thought was really cool... Although I'd never do it to my own dimple. Sorry, that was random.....

I was thinking that a week or so ago on another thread. I figured it was obvious though and that admin would check into IP addys soon enough.

Since this thread is 3 pages long... and I'm in a lazy mood, I heard tongue piercings have a high infection rate. My Naval, 3 ear cartilages, and my ear lobes are done, and I'm satisfied enough with that. I might get my nose done, but that's still a little down the road.

hey helmsy!! hows it goin ^^i totally agree with what you said here Quote: WHY?? Because someone who just got the "license" should be wanting to and will to do the very best job possible. I'm not seein' it. Aftercare is part of the deal, as is DOING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. I read a lot on piercings and for somebody to not tell their customer the aftercare is just sick. =/ im hoping to do piercings sometime, and i find it amusing how sumone could not tell what gauge they were piercing with. when i got my bellybutton done nearly 3 years ago, the girl had NO idea what she was doing. she said it was a 16g as well but it was a 14. dumbass. she pierced it a tiny bit crooked and she cut me. took her about 40 minutes to pierce it. once the needle was thru she kept it in for about 10 minutes to help stretch the hole or some shit. then the post she used was soooo short, and my belly ring got infected and started to eat thru my belly button. whenever i would bend over i could feel the top ball part push thru my skin. it was nasty shit!! lol.took over a year for it to heal. (naval takes a while anyway, but she was just STUPID). the reason i went to her was 1) cheaper and 2) i didnt realize how dumb she was until she put the needle thru. AND another salon i sell body jewelry to, is so dumb. i had to tell her what gauge everyhting was, she had NO idea! she would say "o i want the small lip rings" which really meant " i want 16g 1/2" labrets" god... lolanyways im rambling now, but yeah. lmao. o god what a useless post hahamisses you all tons and speak soon XOX-AshOH and LOL @ the canada accent!!! were not THAT bad by! :P
