I woke up and was slightly shocked by this BBC news I was always a fan of him, and respected greatly what he has done.My thoughts are with his friends and family.R.I.P few men are like him today.Mr. Nuts

Steve Irwin R.I.P
-
I was just about to post the same thing............my little boy has been in tears all morning, he loved steve, we all enjoyed him, yeah he was annoying sometimes, but he made things fun, and i know my boys have learned so much from him, i feel horrible for terri, bob and bindi...........as i said to my youngest, at least he died doing something he loved and not in pain in a hospital somewhere, and thats about all we can hope for.
-
wowI almost took it for granted that he was indestructable
-
He annoyned the hell out of me. I'm honestly not surprised he died.
-
The worst part is that the world knew about it before his wife. She is/was mountain climbing in Tazmania. She has probably been contacted by now, but it has been all over the news all day.
-
R.I.P to a great man who was wonderful with wildlife etc
he did risk his life a lot , and wasnt a huge surprise this happened one day . sad to see him go
-
Annoying though he may have been, I'd say he left this world with more positive than negative influence... and that's all any of us can strive for.
-
i can't believe u fucking said that.
-
I agree, as much as he annoyed me (I even joked that it would a good day when he gets eaten by a croc), I still feel pretty bad that he's dead.
-
yea iv heard nothing else all dayim an australian living in the us and the first thing ppl ask me about wen they hear wer im from is sumthn bout steve irwin.n now that hes dead all day thev been asking im like grrri personally dont think much of the guy and i dont like that hes always abtained so much media, but ther are a lot of people who think hes great...each to their ownprayers for his wife and kidsR.I.P.
-
its very sad. i do believe that its being slightly over rated, probably because of slow news, but i mean, saying you should care less about someone dying is just...well...stupid...anyway, its really ironic that it wasnt by a crocodile that he died. poor steve. RIP buddy.
-
im sorry but what you said isnt fair to me. he loved doing what he did, even tho he would have his fate in his own hands. he was only a young man with a family and to me, he was amazing. i watched him for about 5 years, so im offended by what you said. the media is making a big deal out of it because he was famous, and he was someone that loved animals, and loved life. many people every day are doing dangerous things that are tempting their own fate, but its their choice. i really didnt think that you would say something like that. ive been thinking about steve all day, and how bad i feel for his family and friends, and i really dont like the fact of people being pissed over the media making a big deal over it.sorry, but its how i feel. rest in peace steve....
-
We didn't say we are glad he's dead. It's sad when good people die...but he was just asking for it by the life he lived.
-
ummm... is this your first celeb death you've witnessed in the media?
-
then what exactly are you surprised about?A celeb-natualist died in Australia and you know his name. Do you know the name of the latest Canadian soldier killed by US "friendly fire" in Afganistan?I thought you had some type of interest in Journalism or something... why does the vacuous media machine surprise you?
-
yes, Steve Irwin was very passionate man about wildlife to say the least, however, I agree with what a friend of mine said, he was selfish, and he's now left a widow and a fatherless child, it makes me wonder if he loved animals more than his family.
-
so sad, i got told yesterday when i got home from school. poor guy. i feel sorry 4 his little kiddies. sure, he did anoy me at times but he was a real character. *sigh* poor steve
-
i didnt think that someone dying a heroic death was more important then someone who didnt. heroic or not, the mans dead, and hes famous, so im pretty sure the last time i checked, the media is going to get involved. some of the things he has done CAN be considered selfish, but hey, arent we all at times? i know some things dont add up to holding an infant next to croc, but even so, everyones different.
-
even so, he loved what he was doing.so im assuming he knew the risks. i just really loved him, thats all. i know A LOT of kids watched and loved him as well.
-
o i know that you can have your own opinions its just that i really miss the guy (i purchased discovery on my satellite just so i could watch him). i dont deal with things like death and things like that very well, so fogrive me.
